How can a company not provide life insurance to those who served? Veterans dealing with PTSD aren’t sick. When did it become a reason to deny us life insurance? Just because we’ve faced trauma in combat doesn’t mean we should be ineligible for coverage. Can someone break this down for me? I shouldn’t have to justify what led to my PTSD while I was defending my country! It doesn’t make me unfit for life insurance!

This ain't exactly a cutting-edge choice for an insurance company that’s all about online services. I was looking to boost my coverage, but they won’t let you do that after the first month of your policy. I asked about getting another policy, and they told me they only allow one per customer right now. Not super helpful for folks. If you think you might need to adjust your life insurance down the line, you might wanna look elsewhere.

I was really hoping for a more modern and improved insurance experience with Bestow. I've been paying my premium without any problems for over a year. Then, I go out of town for a couple of weeks, and my bank puts a hold on my credit card because of some suspicious activity. This, of course, leads to my monthly Bestow payment not going through. Instead of just sending me a quick email to let me know about the payment issue and asking me to update my payment info (like every other online service does), I receive a letter in the mail saying my account is in a grace period and will be canceled due to non-payment. Plus, I have to call customer service to sort it out. This all happens just a week after my first declined charge. It’s the same old headaches and bureaucracy as with traditional insurance.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS unless you're cool with shelling out 3-4 times what they first told you. Even if you’ve got a sparkling application and all the right answers, if there’s even a minor hiccup from the last decade, they won’t bother to check if it was handled and resolved, and they’ll just jack up the price. I’m in great shape, super active, and all my health stats are spot on with ZERO medications, yet they quoted me over three times the original estimate after digging into my personal details. WATCH OUT!!!!
